Avery did a great job with some relatively minor electrical - outlet and circuit - upgrades to our house in Richmond. He was super professional, trustworthy, and fairly priced. He had the opportunity to recommend more costly work but instead suggested less pricey solutions. We hired Avery to replace an extensive set of outdated fluorescent fixtures throughout the kitchen--both under cabinet and above countertop. He did an excellent job and the new LED lighting looks fabulous. Plus we can adjust the warmth or coolness of the light which completely changes the feeling of the room. Hanson Electrical Contractor is a top-notch company and truly a lifesaver. I was in desperate need of an honest, professional electrician and reached out to Avery. From the very first call, he was courteous, straightforward, and no-nonsense. After PG&E replaced power lines in our neighborhood, we were suddenly told that our power could not be reconnected unless we repaired the weatherhead wiring. In a stressful situation, I contacted several electricians—many tried to price-gouge, take advantage of the urgency, or upsell me into replacing my entire breaker panel unnecessarily. Avery was different. He was honest, fair with his pricing, and genuinely sympathetic to what we were going through. He clearly explained what actually needed to be done—no scare tactics, no upselling. If you’re looking for an electrician you can trust, I highly recommend Hanson Electrical Contractor and Avery. Hanson and Moore really went above and beyond for us. They came to try and get our radiant heated floor working.  It hadn’t been working for years and the installers were not able to fix it!  They finally got it working after hours of investigation and we all were thrilled.  They charged a fraction of what their time was worth and we paid them with great gratitude.        Then just as they were leaving we noticed a strange electrical effect with the ceiling fan in that room.  They insisted on investigating it as they thought it might be related to their work.  It took them at least another 2 hours and they found it and fixed it.  We wanted to pay them for their EXTRA time and they would not accept additional payment. We were first referred to Hanson and Moore by a friend when we needed to install an EV charger, and they did an excellent job—efficient, professional, and thorough. After we moved, we hired them multiple times for a variety of electrical projects, including  upgrading ten or so light fixtures, replacing outlets with GFCIs, installing another EV charger and completing a full electrical panel upgrade. They managed everything for the panel work, including communication with PG&E and securing the necessary permits, which made the process seamless for us. Not only is their work high-quality, but they’re also consistently on time, respectful of our space, and competitively priced.
